Voxith
Even the tallest Voxith reach heights no taller than four feet with most averaging out to three and half. From a distance they are commonly mistaken for children till one gets close and sees their soft, light brown, cat-like nose, their sharp horizontal ears, and their three fingers.
Scholars, scientists, and inventers by nature, Voxith admire anyone who has an analytical mind. More often than not a member of their race will die from an accidental explosion or some other misfortune in the pursuit of knowledge. These Voxith get their names carved into a memorial wall the runs through the center of town. It is considered a great honor to die in the name knowledge and all who do are highly respected. Most technological improvements within Va’uden are thanks to the Voxith. But not all Voxith fit this description, there is a small sect of this diminutive folk that while quite intelligent like their brethren, decide to use their intellect in the ways hand to hand combat, becoming rouges and warriors.
Voxith have no leader but rather are governed by a system of committees, each of which are in charge of a different functionality of their race. Such committees can range from The Committee of Voxith History to The Committee of Pest Control. In times of great strife a single person is picked to lead them.
Voxith live for only 100 years and mate only temporary with partners who they deem worthy of great intellect.
Voxith reside within their underground home of Torilgot in the north west of Va’uden.
